A Grand Regency Longcase clock by JAMES POWELL of WORCESTER, watchmaker to the Prince of Wales.

Regency period mahogany crossbanded and bone inlaid longcase clock by James Powell, Worcester, early 19th century, the hood with brass orb finials and swan neck pediment above reeded columns enclosing a 14 inch arched painted arched dial with phases of the moon, seconds and days of the month dials, signed in the centre, above a shaped long trunk door inlaid with oval panel flanked by reeded pilasters, on moulded base with bracket feet.
